If PP did not offer abortions no one would have a problem with them because, as Trump said, they do provide some important services - exams, testing and treatment for STDs, pregnancy testing, contraception. The type of women who avail themselves of those services there have no money. They are the poorest women, and would likely not seek any attention if they didn’t have a place where it was free to them. I think some county health dept.s offer some of those services, but not all do.

This...is pathetic. Yes it is true that if Planned Parenthood didn't offer abortions people wouldn't have a problem with them, but that's because Planned Parenthood wouldn't exist without abortion. It's akin to complaining that Lee Harvey Oswald was a good husband and father and the only reason people have a problem with him is that he blasted Kennedy's head to pieces.

I am pointing to the fact that many are saying that PP does NOT provide any important services for women, when in fact they do. And the women who avail themselves of some of those services actually wouldn’t seek help if they had to pay even a few dollars.

For example, a prostitute who might get an STD multiple times a year.

I get that many people feel that as long a PP does abortion then NONE of the other services they provide have merit. I don’t believe that to be true. And to posit that a person who believes that those other services have value = this person supports abortion, well THAT is what is pathetic.
