Again, “better” is a matter of opinion. A full 40% of the country believe that America is better off than it was 7 years ago.
But I understand what you are saying. My issue with Donald Trump is that I don’t know if my understanding of “better” and his understanding of “better” align.

I think that illustrates my point. I'm not looking for a touchdown, I'm looking for a first down. That is how the left got us here.
If you follow what I'm saying...you have to take that 40% into account. Will Trump disappoint? Probably. If he can build the wall, get immigration under control, stab PC in the heart, and remove the fear of standing up for our own interests, I'd say that was a successful presidency.
A more realistic fear, I'd say, is that Shrillary or Bernie wins...or if Ted, that he is at best a one term president, at worst sets back conservative politics for a generation.
