I find it sad that “Religious Conservatives” who are all so worried that the candidate must be pure to their views routinely violate their own religious tenants when ever primary election season rolls around.
Perhaps its not the “religious conservatives” violating their tenets, but the choice of candidates?
So I guess that’s a yes... citing a poll or numbers that don’t align with desires for your chosen candidate amounts to bearing false witness...
What I find sad is people who are so desperate to find a political savior in a candidate that they ignore evidence of character flaws... just to stick it to the other side.
As a personal aside I find myself without a dog in this fight. My state has a very late primary so I don’t really have a voice. I don’t have a favorite candidate, I am still deciding who I would and would not hold my nose for in a general election. All candidates have positions and things in their pasts that I’m not crazy about.
I find the rabid devotion to either Cruz or Trump on this site disturbing and the name calling that commences the equivalent of kindergarten squabbling. Followers of both candidates seem to have forgotten the greatest commandment of all.
