Robert "LaVoy" Finicum, spokesman for the occupiers of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, was yelling "just shoot me" before he was shot and killed by police in a traffic stop, according to a woman at the scene.

Fleeing the police, crashing a roadblock, and then shouting "just shoot me" while reaching under your coat is called 'suicide by cop'.

The fantasy was that this protest was going to change government policy or spark a popular revolt.

He did not crash a roadblock, he swerved into a snowbank. He has women in the car. Swerving save the two women. After being shot three times and bleeding out, instead providing assistance OSP empties a hand gun into his body I guess they were yelling at him to get up on his knees and he didn’t obey.
