The Judge dismissed the case.
On the news this AM. Seems his ex wife called the cops on him.
I thought he was already acquitted?
He was, this is the story and Tommy’s opinion on the case.
Michelle Steppe is married to a Grand Prairie police officer.
This mother is an absolute fool. She has ruined a family because she want s to be “friends” with her teenage daughter...who ultimately, I predict, is going to run roughshod over her mother too.
Fact is, with her attitude and feelings, the family was probably already hosed anyway.
The Dad did the absolute right thing...and he still has the phone.
The mother destroyed a family over absolute Bravo Sierra.

Pretty far out of date. He was acquitted at trial.
I guess she discovered one of the benefits of sleeping with a cop.
Take the phone for a week or two... not 3 months
Everybody really needs to start paying attention, HE WAS NOT ARRESTED, he was and is a VICTIM OF FELONY KIDNAPPING, his POS ex and her jack booted thug lover belong in PRISON FOR LIFE!!!

I thought that there was more to this story.
She got what she wanted....the father is out of the daughter’s life.
I went through similar (but not quite as serious) issues with my ex-wife before and after I remarried. Her nonsense almost caused me to walk away. But I stuck it out and her ridiculous behavior played a role in my winning full custody when my son was 8.
Now concerning the unmarried, I have no command of the Lord [i.e., the Lord has not spoken directly on this] but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy. I think that in view of the impending distress it is well for a person to remain as he is. Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek marriage. She sounds like a real winner. /s
They were never married but the mother is currently dating a police officer in their locality who has engaged in a harrassment campaign against Ronald Jackson, the father. Thus the Civil Rights suit.
What aspects of the daughter's behavior did you take into account to make that decision?
Was the daughter skipping school? Was she dating a married man? Was she meeting strangers she encountered on the internet? Was she using the phone to deal drugs?
Unlike a friend of mine, I never had to retrieve my daughter from a sheriff's office one hour drive from home. Two months without a phone might have seemed like a slap on the hand.
