On today's show I wanted to go back to something that I haven't dealt with in a while, and that's the economy. I of course am not an economist, but I do put my trust in what economists and economic commentators say we need to be watching rather than what the government says the unemployment rate is. We've gotten off to a very rough start in 2016 when it comes to global markets, wealth lost in the stock markets, global trade, and companies looking to downsize their workforce. I don't like to talk negative but I do like to talk reality. Knowledge, information, and truth is power as long as it's accurate and indeed is truthful. I'll be talking about all this today on the show, live at 4:30 Eastern time and archived after that.
I took 85% of my mutual funds and transferred to money market at a lousy 1%. I can’t afford to see my retirement get cut in half for a third time.
Did you have to pay any transaction fees?
Regards,
No transaction fees BUT I can only take 25% from money market a year if the market changes for the better and I want to put it back into mutual funds. I was in Northwestern Mutual.
Yeh like we are heading into a deflationary depression. Its not going to be pleasant.
Ouch- Sorry to hear that.
To much money sloshing around for deflation.
We are in deflation now.
Please tell the guy that runs my local Food Lion that.
