Cruz is not rude to Trump and does compliment him. Clearly you are not listening.
He was just on Hannity a few minutes ago and had nothing bad to say about Palin or Trump.

Remember that Reagan and Bush fought tooth and claw throughout the spring of 1980.
“I’m paying for this microphone” happened because Bush wanted to exclude the other candidates and go one-on-one with Reagan, whose policy positions included what Bush called “voodoo economics”.
Such a moment— and such a team— may yet be in the offing.
