What he says? Don’t care. Single Payer? Don’t care.
Ethanol Subsidies? Don’t care. Lauds Planned Parenthood (until he found out that wasn’t a conservative position).Don’t care?
On and on it goes.
The Left voted for a skin color.
Now the Right is voting on anger.
Both show an incredible lack of judgement.

You’re right. It is an emotional reaction to someone they think is saying what they want to hear.
They refuse to look at his history and the fact that nothing he says is said with honest conviction.
It’s all an act and everyone is falling for it.

It's the exact opposite. Cruzbot scum have proven that they'll tear apart anyone who questions Ted Cruz, but won't bother to wonder what it means when Ted Cruz calls legalization of illegals "common sense" immigration reform.
