Just say no to toolbars, and dictionaries.

That being said, browser toolbars usually don’t show up in Control Panel, they show up in the browser’s App section. Though this could be the Homepage setting.

An excellent dictionary resource I use frequently is www.onelook.com, which aggregates over a thousand dictionary sites. Highly recommend it.

I found a neat little program that is FREE on ShouldIRemoveIt.com that only takes a few minutes to run that displays a simple easy-to-read list of all the programs running on your computer. What programs should you remove is the tough question. Simply download the award winning “Should I Remove It?” app and wonder no more. The app is a tiny, lightweight program designed to show you what programs you have installed on your computer and quickly determine what programs you can safely remove. The download is: http://www.shouldiremoveit.com/download.aspx! I used it 2 days ago and got rid of about 20 programs including the Ask toolbar.

Yeah, Adobe tries to push Norton’s anti-virus virus software on us. That crap is impossible to remove.
