Cruz is a huge, big time lawyer.
I don’t think it was an accident.
Nor do I think Hillary’s mishandling of classified paperwork was an accident.
So, in terms of national security, Hillary’s was worse.
But, in terms of obfuscation, they are the same.
He kept the information off the FEC filings, which were the ones linking the loans to his Senate campaign. That, perhaps intentionally, misinformed the voters. That is quite serious.
