Higher taxes

Increasingly Unbalanced budget

Devalue the currency

Socialistic Controls over economy and daily lives

Centralize Federal power, weaken power of the states

Federal aid to, and control over, education

Make the public fear fighting and support appeasing communists

Ha! I remember learning in public school, in the 1970s, that the John Birch Society was as extreme as the communists.

I guess the joke was on me.

No surprises there.

The surprise would have been if taxes and the deficit and the size of government had decreased and the dollar had increased in value.
