Been a Patriots fan for 40 years and have never been so disappointed as I was Sunday to see Brady just hanging his head in anticipation of another defeat. I don’t see the fight or the will to win. No spark. Other quarterbacks seem to be able to function when injuries to team happen, when they get hit, sacked, etc. and when things just don’t go their way. Brady has been able to overcome these things in the past but Sunday did not look good for him and the Patriots. Very disappointing.
We’ll see what happens once the playoffs start. Never count Brady out.
Oh! and BTW, I’m still a believer in that it will be the Patriots vs Seattle. My two favorite teams
FMCDH(BITS)
Manning won’t perform well enough to get the Broncos across the finish line. He’s still #2 in interceptions - and he hasn’t even been playing.
The gushfest for Peyton will expire rather quickly. Broncos - 1 and done - again when they lose to the Steelers in the Divisional. “HGH you taste so good...”
Expect a win from a healthier/rested offense and defense for the Pats vs KC in the 2nd round.
Patriots get home field - and beat the Steelers in the AFC Champeenchip.
Oof! I knew he wasn't having a great year - but I didn't realize he had a lower passer rating than Nick Foles.
Yeah it’s crazy. I’ve really got no guess. I’m pretty sure my Steelers will beat Cinci Saturday, which means they go to Denver the next week and beat them. No idea what’s going to happen in Houston, the Texans defense is amazing but their offense is so bad (they’re now starting the guy they benched during the first game of the year... against the Chiefs). And I just don’t believe in Reid or Smith. The Pats are so banged up I have a hard time seeing them beating anybody, except my Steelers because Belichick just has our number.
The NFC is way easier. It all boils down to can the Seahawks beat the Panthers in two weeks. If they do they’re going to the Superbowl. If not probably Panthers go, AZ might beat the Panthers, but probably not. But the AFC is wide open, any of the 6 can go.
Starting to feel like a rematch of the Pats first SB win. AZ played rough and if they do that next week Carolina will kill them. And Denver played for crap, if the Steelers had been whole (Bengals and their cheapshot crap) they’d have won that game by 20, no way they survive the Pats that way.
One of the things I truly appreciate about the Pats reign is that except for the Philly game (not the Pats’ fault) all their 21st century SBs were very exciting final possession games. Love em or hate em, at least they don’t play in Super Bores.
