Given the amount of Oregon that is consider Federal land, I'm not sure why Oregon is called a state. Here's a map of the amount of Oregon land that belongs to the Feds:

I’ve seen an infographic that makes the very same point, but for the entire nation, it shows how much of the west the feds claim for themselves vs the rest of the country. It’s disturbing to say the least.
