It was an unusual event and it was an unusual phenomenon in that so many people remember where they were when they heard it happened.

I was 23 years old when I heard over the radio that Kennedy had been shot. I was in a pharmacy, sitting on a stool at the soda fountain, drinking a Coke float! I remember it like it was yesterday, in fact I remember it better than I remember yesterday. (Getting old Ya know)
