Hmmmm, I didn't catch that in the documentary linked here, but Nixon's reference to "that whole Cuban thing" was mentioned.

That has always been something I wondered. It could have been a reference to some of the secrets of the Bay of Pigs fiasco as well. Later on I realized I wasn’t too crazy when Haldeman (iirc) wrote that he thought it was in reference to JFK as well.
