If not of Trump himself
I am a big fan of William Voegeli, who is not a big fan of Donald Trump. Voegeli has been published in various high-profile places, but is best known as editor of the relatively low-profile Claremont Review of Books. With all due respect to the CRB, thatâs too bad, because America would be a better place if more people read Voegeli.
And never more so than today, because he offers about the best explanation Iâve seen for why thereâs nothing hateful, dumb or crazy about the motivation behind those supporting Trump, even though Voegeli makes it quite clear Trump is not his guy.
I think you could best sum up his argument like this: People have a right to expect that government will take seriously the need to address certain issues in a serious way. When the government does not do that - as this government clearly has not - those who are part of itâs culture can hardly blame people for preferring someone way outside whatâs considered the bounds of political acceptability:
This is an excellent article that cogently and correctly explains Trump’s rise, while acknowledging both his assets and his flaws.
1.So don't be surprised
2. don't call your customer dumb for leaving you... if you disrespect the customer and don't satisfy their wants and needs... they be dumb staying with you......Trump as a businessman understand that intuitively... and that why he is cleaning up in the market
Good point. I’m not for Trump either, but his supporters are clearly sick of being lied to.
