You mention Hillary and the Supreme Court, and rightly so.
You mention the Republicans, but hey wait!
Isn’t Ted Cruz a Republican??
On this particular point, I’m in absolute agreement.
Of course, I’m also certain, that a President Trump could and would seek the stellar advice of Ted Cruz regarding SCOTUS appointments.
I would really like this question asked of the candidates in a debate, especially Trump and then Cruz.
(one)
He's a legitimate exception. Elected as a tea party republican, who hasn't lost his way, and has found himself on the National stage.
(two)
I want Donald Trump for president, but I want Ted Cruz to pick the supreme court nominees.
(three)
Star Wars VII is highly overrated. It did not have that epic feel. It needed a slower pace. Pete Jackson style.
The GOPe and MSM entente only like Cruz because they hope he will help them take out Trump. As soon as Trump is out of the picture, Cruz will be attacked like you’ve never seen it. As long as both of them are in the top spots, and together polling over 50 percent, the GOPe can’t do anything about them. It’s beautiful.
Good article and makes a great point.
Ted Cruz is an anomaly among today's politicians.
He actually understands and believes in the Constitution and wants to protect it and us like the originals designed it.
He stands as the one who is forced to remind all the others that they have a higher reason for being in Congress.
And they hate him for it.
“That is why Ted Cruz is our only hope.”
...and hopefully President Trump seeks out his council when making such serious appointments.
Trump is worrisome compared to Cruz. If he’s all that’s left, then there’s no choice, but while there is a choice it should be Cruz. I see Trump as a populist. He’s saying what people want to hear, but I think that’ll be it. He doesn’t talk about the Constitution etc.
Let’s be honest, the only thing that the US needs more than anything is the original Constitution being restored and adhered to.
If you want a repeat of the Johnson / Goldwater election, than Cruz is your guy.

I agree. The appointments to the Supreme Court is my only concern re: Trump.
*counsel*
After Cruz wins, he might let Trump build the wall.
Ted Cruz can’t appoint Ted Cruz to SCOTUS. Trump can.
“Today conservatives are in the position of saying, “Help us Ted Cruz. You are our only hope.””
That’s just gay. At best he would be a good employee for us and we should all give him a close look. If Donald falls, Ted is a fantastic second. Others here see it the opposite. But no, he isn’t some jedi leader to be nearly prayed to.
Sorry. I support Sen. Cruz, and even donate money to him.
But Jesus is my only hope.
I support Sen. Cruz for president.
But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Well-stated, Fhios
The current president will die in a hail of gunfire soon? Because that’s why Johnson won.
