I guess I am ‘prejudiced’ as the only picture I was conjuring up was a (sort) of caricature of ‘Aunt Jemima’ in the cart.
Seriously, I was so ‘convinced’ that I was taken aback by the name Lopez.
Maybe she was named after Joycelyn Elders, the Surgeon General who got canned for saying the only sensible words out of her mouth during her short tenure.
In re kids and unwanted pregnancies she said (words to the effect) Maybe we should teach these kids how to masturbate (or along that line).
FWIW, I just ‘discovered’ Elders’ first name is Minnie (according to Wiki) and she be 82...must have paid her well to STFU after her embarrassing role in the Govt.
