The 1911 was designed by a man who devoted himself to innovative weapon design and it was built for an army that won its wars. The Glock is the brain child of a curtain rod manufacturer, made for a summer conscript army that hasn’t fought anyone for keeps since they were the Nazi’s JV squad.

It's amazing that a 100 year old design is still one of the best handguns out there. When purchasing a 1911, there are so many options to choose from as well. I still like my Glock though. It's reliable but not too inspiring.
