Good points on the nomination details. I hadn't considered that aspect. Also, there may be a simple fixed timeline that can't be avoided. Something big is up. Not sure what it is - but I feel it's some kind of coming catastrophe (e.g., Muslim/communist uprising, economic collapse, cosmic or tectonic related).

What else justifies unhindered invasion, busting the national budget, massive ammunition purchases, ...?
