The professional apparatus of the Republican Party are signaling their intent to do exactly what we predicted they would do. Trump will win the primary, and the GOPe will split the party to run an additional candidate in the general election.
It’s not Trump going third party – It’s the establishment GOP (GOPe) intending to go third party. They are planning a modified version of the Mississippi Strategy from 2014.

I had a visit with Karl Rove today at the Chicago airport. (really) Dude was not happy with Trump. He is correct though when he says that Trump is not a conservative. That I agree with. Nice guy. He also agreed that Cruz will win Iowa.
They don’t care what WE want.
The "Mississippi" strategy involved Democrats crossing over to vote. There's a strong possibility they will this year in the primaries since Clinton is a cinch. But does anyone seriously think they'll be crossing over to vote for Bush? More likely I think they'll be crossing over to vote Trump.

If Romney ran 3rd party then IMO Trump would win but not enough electoral votes to keep it from going to the House.
The House would put Romney in :-(
Cruz is NOT going to win all of the primaries/have enough delegates to be the nominee.
And Rove is NOT a “nice” guy!
I don’t agree much with Rove but wasn’t going to have a debate with him. We have a few friends in common. I told him the electorate is having a watershed moment with the whole Trump and immigration dustup. He basically agreed.
Kim Jong Un is prettier than Hillary and looks better in a pantsuit...lol
Well he was a gentlemen to me. Stood up to shake my hand as I introduced myself.
That just means that he is “polite”. :-)
