YouTube sensations Lynette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson joined Donald Trump on stage at his Raleigh, North Carolina rally Friday night.
"How great are they!" Trump exclaimed while the duo -- known as Diamond and Silk -- walked onto the stage.
"I turn on my television one night," a hoarse Trump said, "and I see these two on television. I say 'they are the greatest.' They became an internet sensation."
The Republican front runner then invited Hardaway to "do a little routine," which she eagerly accepted.
"First of all, I'm glad that the media can see us," she said. "I want everybody to know that we stand behind Donald J. Trump!
"We support Donald J. Trump! We endorse Donald J. Trump," the pair said simultaneously to wild applause.
"And this is going to be our next president of these United States! The silent majority has spoken, baby! He's going to build that wall and he's going to build it tall and it's going to protect us all," Hardaway said.
"We don't want this country to fall do we?" she said. "Build that wall Donald J. Trump," Hardaway said as she was embraced by the candidate.

Your story is true other than he came up with only a couple of thousand, he fund raiser the rest. But it would not have happened if he had not have done it. Many points for Trump! And this was done in 1986!
Good info, thanks.
It is not easy to reply civily to someone trying to be as nasty ass as possible either, so get over it OK?
I am not an apple fan..
But Trump gets it wrong, eminent domain is for roads, flood control and other such things, not factory development, that is not democracy, its fascism. Too far over the line. Kinda like where one poster said he offered her a million bucks and then let her keep the house.
I have two problems with that, first try and find any beach front property for less than a million none the less on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, And he “let” her keep her home AFTER the court threw out the case.
That is like letting the Bank keep its money because the guard has a gun.
Over all I get from this thread that Trump is a mixed bag, kind with a sense of justice, but willing to misuse government power to get his way.
One widow he saves in disconnected farmland, the widow next door he is willing to destroy for her home.
What a strange man.
I’m really not trying to be nasty. We got off on the wrong foot with that ‘Trump is the white Obama’ crack, as that just seemed way, way over the top/clueless-at-best. But then check out post 75. I took a bullet for you, no complaints. (That comment was—if you get my drift—not intended for me.)
The call for increased courtesy is, however, heeded. I will make every effort going forward.
‘the widow next door he is willing to destroy for her home.’
Offering the woman a million dollars—far more than her home was worth—was not Trump’s attempt to destroy her. I read somewhere that her house subsequently became worthless, iirc, due to the surrounding development.
In any event, it’s a smear to say Trump’s intention was to destroy her. If he’d offered her a pittance and tried to force her to accept it, your description would be far more apt.
“I work in shipping warehouses across the country and the only ones I have seen that do not hire predominantly illegals is Amazon.com believe it or not.”
Good for Amazon! I’ll keep buying from them then. I’ve been wondering how they can offer free shipping when shipping is so expensive. It’s even more impressive if they are hiring Americans and paying workers comp, social security, etc.
Iâve escaped two ruined border states. Iâve been where English is rarely heard, where crime is rampant, where teachers ignore the white kids because she is teaching the illegals and anchors English, where citizens canât get a job if they donât speak Spanish and they had better be educated because the illegals and dishonest employers steal Americanâs jobs. Iâve met people from another country who waited 10 years and spent thousands of dollars to finally get here - educated, skilled people.
This is coming to all states unless the illegals are forced to leave.
This has been my #1 issue since W pushed amnesty and vilified Tancredo and Hunter for standing up for Americans. So I am thrilled to have two too candidates running with good illegal immigration plans. I just hope one of them wins.
“These ladies are not really what they portray. I have seen them interviewed and they have their wits about them.”
I never thought they didn’t. They’re just speaking in away so some people get it. Like Trump does. I think ;)
Lovely post Jane!
You out down everything I wanted to so saved me lots of time ;)
i’m sure GilGil was being facetious. He knows who he is voting for, as do I. He wanted you to state who you are for (and why you are here trashing Trump also)
Thanks....all the credit goes to the boss. He’s the author of that glorious description of Trump/Trump policies ;-)
“Know this, if I was telling you what you wanted to hear I would be your new best friend, and you still would know nothing about me.”
I think you are dead wrong that Trump is pandering. He has said a lit of ‘controversial’ things that in most other times would have nixed his candidacy. If he is only saying things to get elected, he has taken a huge risk because it could all very well have backfired. Pandering is usually done by sticking to the middle and being vague. (I thought Cruz was doing that for months and months.) Going to the so-called extreme right, using insults and words most politicians avoid, putting himself out as a target for the left and GOPe - not the things pandering is made of!
What did I say that gave you the impression I was thrashing Trump?
Even better. I wish some here would realize he’s got Trump’s back here.
I didn’t think you were trashing Trump, I knew you were being sarcastic asking who to vote for.
I think we are both pretty set on who our guy is ;)

Two other properties that prevailed against eminent domain eventually did sell: Sabatini's restaurant received $2.1 million and a pawnshop sold for $1.6 million. Their lots became part of a large lawn flanking a taxi stand for Trump's casino.[1][6] Coking remained in her house until 2010, when she moved to a retirement home in the San Francisco Bay Area near her grandson, Ed Casey.[citation needed]
Casey subsequently tried to sell the house, putting it on the market in 2011 with an initial asking price of $5 million.[1][7] By September 2013 the price had reduced to $1 million,[8] but it still did not sell as Atlantic City continued to suffer the lingering effects of the financial crisis of 2007â08 and over-building during the boom that preceded it.[citation needed]
The property was finally sold for $530,000 in an auction on July 31, 2014.[9] Neither the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority nor the owners of Trump Plaza expressed any interest in the auction.[1] The buyer was Carl Icahn, who held the debt on Trump Entertainment, owner of Trump Plaza. He subsequently demolished the house.[10]
The house as it looked after Penthouse began construction in the 1970s of the parking garage but halted after project went bankrupt. In the 1990s Trump began buying property of a parking area for limos but she wouldn't sell to him either.
I don’t even remember what I said. Oh! Yah! It’s Trump or bust!
Thanks for all that info! I learned so much from your post—it was very helpful. Wonder what Icahn saw in that little lot? Anyway, thanks again.
I think it is time for your nap. You are cranky.
I was wrong about the land and the lady in Atlanta. I just did a quick search and posted the link - and yes, I thought you were just unwilling to hear any criticism regarding Trump - so your snotty attitude is showing, too. So, I’ll apologize for that. But here are some links and other reasons why it’s easy to believe he might do such a thing. I’ll vote for Trump if he gets the nomination but I believe a Trump presidency will be a very mixed bag. I don’t see him as that conservative. I see him as a pragmatist and more libertarian - and I absolutely believe that most Americas that call themselves Republican or conservative will be fine with it, but I’m not. I’ll be happy to be wrong about him. He seems to have only lately “evolved” as a conservative. Perhaps age is having a good effect. I know businesses give to both political parties - it’s just good business, they say. But he gave to Hillary Clinton! That’s suppose to convince me? His comments about who he’d appoint to the Supreme Court is another concern. Even Reagan got hoodwinked on one but we can’t have any more “moderates” and absolutely no liberals. Trump just doesn’t seem that strong on social issues so he’ll probably go with a moderate - and that won’t help the country. To me the social issues are important and a big reason we are in the mess we’re in.

My guess is he was trying to make the entire piece of property into one whole, thus
worth more rather than
having a small lot removed from it. Apparently that lot has messed with other
developers plans for a complete parcel of property.
