I am all for helping the homeless but I see this as not such a good way to do it.....I’m sorry. Why don’t they themselves? Why am I giving money (taxes and out of pocket to Chaities)/ No, I’ve had it. Nobody is “helping” me because I do it myself. I DO help people who try to themselves without government intervention but I give them a stern talking to.
I think a lot of them are beyond help. There was a homeless man that I passed often at a certain corner. I had given him a few dollars over several months. Then one day he was standing there with a huge new facial tattoo. I thought about all the money I had given him going to pay for that tattoo and I got furious.
A few weeks later he has a bandaged foot. A few more weeks go by and the foot has been removed above his ankle and he is in a brand new wheel chair.
One day he was gone. As dirty as the bandage became over a few days it is not surprising that he died of a massive infection.What should we do with people like that?
