Right after 9/11; our preacher at that time held a study of
Islam, a several week program. A waste of time to me. In
fact, I learned ALL I wanted or needed to know about
Islam on 9/11. - We’d had an exchange student from Turkey,
a Muslim girl, over 50 years ago. She married a fellow
Muzzie, someone her parents had picked out, had kids, then
later passed away several years ago. She was pleasant and
nice enough; but not interested at all in Christian
churches. - We had just been told back then that the
Muslim god’s name was just called “Allah”. - She did have
a bit of a problem with the food in our cafeteria. They did
a lot of hot dogs & other pork dishes.

I think I’ve pretty much learned that it is not what goes
into the stomach of man that defiles the man. It is what
spews forth from the person that defiles the person.

Having said that; I can’t eat a lot of pork. It tends to
aggravate joint inflammation. Had a slice of bacon tonight;
but can’t eat much sausage unless I want to burp it up the
rest of the day.
