That's what I want to see. With either one on top, more likely Cruz on top. That would free up Trump to allow him to keep tabs on his business while VP. He would have his daughter and other children running his empire, but Trump would still be calling the shots. Meanwhile, Cruz as president with the two of them collaborating on tearing down all the Obama mistakes. Doing that is a tough job for one guy, let alone two. Trump is 69 years old. He will not want to be Prez for 8 years. Trump will never accept a number 2 position since that makes him a LOSER. . You don't become a billionaire by being second best and a LOSER.. Trumps ego will not allow him to be vice-president of anything.
This "Cruz/Trump" idea shows a lack of realistic process thinking and logic.

No, the real "lack of realistic process thinking and logic" shows up when so-called conservatives promote a candidate like Trump who is lacking in his understanding of the Constitution over someone like Cruz who has no such problem.
In fact, Cruz hands-down, because of his fidelity to and understand of the constitution is the best candidate period for the job.

Correct, however Trump is fully prepared to serve two terms if possible. Given his energy and general health, as well as his ability to effectively delegate while managing the big picture, there's no reason he could not. Look at it this way: Anything after being POTUS (with the possible exception of Chief Justice--something only Taft managed) is a step down and Trump wants to go out "on top".
Eight years of Trump followed by 8 years of Cruz and the Republic should be safe for decades to come.

I agree.
I believe that Cruz has learned a lot from Trump in just the last few months or so. As much as I prefer Cruz, I believe that a Trump/Cruz ticket would be very strong. Cruz would continue to learn how a strong no-nonsense leader operates. And at some point, Cruz would eventually be president. He is still young.

Of course. Trump is the top dog administrator, there is no way he’ll take the second chair, nor should he.
I agree he may step down after a single term, or sooner, provided the bulk of his policies are on track.

Trumps ego will not allow him to be vice-president of anything. I don't think Trump is that selfish. He's a generous man, and will do it for our country. He's a patriot.

I agree. I think Cruz would do well to accept a veep position. It’s usually a nothing job but he could make it something.
Plus after 4 years Trump will either be able to put his plans into effect or he won’t.
If he does, he’ll say ‘my work here is done.’ and go back to business.
If he doesn’t, he’ll be sick of the fight and turn it over to Cruz.
Either way we’d have 12 years of leadership.
