I saw that interview on See BS Sunday morning.

McCain would have suffered a Walter Mondale / George McGovern style loss is it wasn’t for Sarah Palin.

Not all of the interview was negative, however. Sarah was, and is, very uplifting. It was nice to see and hear her again.

CBS's Tracy Smith began her interview in a harsh fashion, asking Palin if she felt "like a loser" in the aftermath of the 2008 presidential election. The Governor didn't hedge her response, "Well sure, you either win or you lose. It's like dang, I wish I could have added more, contributed more positively. Maybe there was no chance that we were going to win anyway."

Smith pressed the assault, "Do you feel like you're to blame for the loss in 2008, cause people do blame you." Palin was readily willing to accept her share of the responsibility, but also inferred that Senator John McCain bore some part of the loss, "It takes a team to win, so it takes a team to lose. I was part of a team that came in second, out of two .. It's semantics okay, words matter, you either win or you lose. We lost. That makes you not a winner", qualifying her response by pointedly adding, "at that time."

To avoid non resolvable apostrophe's:

1. Copy text from source web site.

2. Open Notepad, on every Windows machine.

3. Paste.

4. Carefully select an apostrophe in the message.

5. Edit> Replace> (paste the selected apostrophe) then tab to Replace with and type an apostrophe from your keyboard.

6. Click Replace All.

7. Now copy from Notepad back to Free Republic.

Until the mods get this fixed.

As for Palin, we are at this point with her influence. She got many conservatives elected in 2010 and 2014 who are perceived do nothings. But she advanced the clock towards more drastic election outcomes.

Silly blogger.

Quick lesson in "imply" vs "infer."

“I always thought the Sarahphobic lib reaction arose from her RNC speech, which was devastating. The libs could feel how her speech was uplifting the Republicans more than anything McCain ever did up to that point.”

And the fact that she did it *after* her teleprompter was sabotaged, was devastating to them.

I remember a number of “Oh Cr@p” comments from libs after the speech. They were tremendously worried that Palin would put McCain into the White House, and would then be positioned to be the first woman president.

That is why they went all out savage, no holds barred, lie your @ss off attack on her, and continue it to this day.

Tracy Smith outs herself as a Lefty sploot catcher...

Wonder how many CBS alpha males Tracy had to sleep with before she finally hooked up with her sugar daddy John D'Amelio, CBS Sunday Morning producer...

D'Amelio must have money or clout, because he looks like a real dweeb.

She's either a porn star or a CBS "journalist", but either way, she's a Lefty sploot dumpster...

Wow. Hadn’t seen that prior to my comment. Thanks ~

I realize it’s part of her new book promotion, but they certainly seem very comfortable together ....

Imagine all the exploding heads, on both the left and right. LoL just thinking about it!
