I actually read this in my 20s along with History of the Peloponnesian War by Thucydides. Love the Greek history and plays. Thank you for the resource. Don’t forget to read the Illiad and the Oddysey. They could of been written by Ayn Rand.
I first read Herodotus in my twenties; I’d made a start on it, but when I had a nasty summer cold I spent the day(s?) off sitting or lying by the apartments’ inground pool, reading the book.
