Hubby just told me that was what Ellen G White taught. My DiL is a 7th Day, has been for years, and she's never heard that. I would guess that some branches reject that.

Walter Martin's book, Kingdom of the Cults, removed Seventh Day Adventists from the list of cults.

If an SDA still views Ellen G. White’s teachings as equal to Scripture they are still in deception. Only Jesus can judge a person’s heart, but I try to stay away from something founded by a false prophetess.

There are "branches" of SDA now? If they uphold their list of "Fundamentals," then they affirm Ellen White to be an authoritative prophet, and thus reject the Trinity through her. Read here for SDA theologians speaking about the subject of what SDA actually believe about the Trinity:
