It’s a strange thing living near an area that is heavily Muslim. My mind tells me that they are just biding their time, waiting for things to change. Meanwhile, I had my blood drawn by a Somali Muslim lab tech and another Somali scanned my groceries (including pork sausage)at walmart. A friend recently had a Somali clerk at that Walmart refuse to touch their pizza so they had to scan it themselves. In my case Mohammed (his real name) avoided touching it, scanned the groceries behind it first, looked around to see if anyone else was available, then stared at it for a brief moment, sighed and scanned it himself. I was bracing myself to refuse a request to scan it for him. Big thing for me as I am quite non-confrontational.
So, I am friendly, smile and say thank you as kindly as possible while wondering if they want me dead.
I found out, just yesterday, my daughter's childhood friend is interning (she is going to college to become a teacher) at a refugee school in Tucson. I had no idea there was even such a place. Anyhow, it's largely Somali. Apparently, they have some blood feuds and bring them over here. I couldn't quite make out if it was Somali's having problems with other Somalis or other ethnic groups.
She said the kids and families are fighting among themselves. One family, she said, stoned another family (not sure what that means). I have to ask her more next time I see her.
I told her I didn't think it was a very safe environment for her.
Wonder no longer.
They want you either converted to Islam, in Dhimmitude slavery, or dead. If they are feeling merciful to you when the time arrives, they might offer you a choice.
You would be better off letting rattlesnakes loose in your house.
