Cheney should have been POTUS. There would have been no candy ass war making.

Captain NAFTA, father of the New World Order is looking and sounding more like Stephen Hawking these days.

If Cheney were a real "iron ass" then he would have begged W to institute a military dictatorship in Iraq until the US was certain Iraqis could form their own working government.

Why is it that our "leaders" have the guts to declare war, but don't have the guts to follow up military victories with unpopular political arrangements?

Yes the other world "leaders" would have publicly condemned us for being hypocrites, but privately they would have prayed for our success.

Blowing up things and then retreating before "winning the peace" is not a workable foreign policy.

I am glad to see this.

Because now Cheney can tell what he knows about the Bush family and its inner workings.

Bush must be getting senile because every one who has ever been in business knows that it is foolish to antagonize ex-employees because the smart ones can hurt you.

Cheney was the real adult male in the room. That’s why they don’t like him.

He was supposed to be a quiet VP, unassuming and only serving the purpose of bringing the vote of some constituency.

I think the Bush clan came to see him as a detriment when he was actually a decisive asset.

It should be informative that none of the Bushes had/have anything bad to say about Clinton or Obama, but they have no reservations about throwing [former] friends and allies under the bus. Gives one insight into their true nature and character (or lack thereof).
