Do Stingers, or any other MANPAD have the range to reach up to 31,000 feet?

The same intelligence report disclosing the observation of a flash of heat also said there was no heat trail that indicates the presence of a surface-to-air missile. The absence of a surface-to-air missile heat trail and the absence of the characteristic shrapnel pattern on the fuselage rules out a surface-to-air missile or any other type of missile as the cause of the aircraft’s disintegration. Whatever caused the aircraft to crash, it could not have been a missile.

That fact that somebody videotaped the plane exploding and going down says a great deal. They obviously knew it was going to get hit.

choose 1:

1) The ISIS Insitute of Technology made the weapon.

or

2) It was it bought from the treasonous US State Dept
with money sent to Bill and Hillary Clinton.

I think the phrase “ external” used by the Russians referred to an outside actor and means of destruction, not anything “ internal” such as mechanical or human failure
They were not referring to an external explosion
At least some of The wreckage showed metal peeled from inside out indicating internal explosion

31k feet destruction is an unusual destruction altitude but has been noted an at least 2 other prominent terrorist bombings, including PanAm 103 and I read also Air India ..... Poss indicating barometric bomb

“it most certainly could have been hit by an advanced portable AA missile “

At 31,000 feet and at speed and jet was flying away from the “shooter,” there is no possible way a heater (MANPAD) took that jet down. To be clear: no way at all, not physically possible.

Average max reach for a MANPAD is about 15,000 feet. (Specs here: http://www.militaryfactory.com/smallarms/detail.asp?smallarms_id=30)

A radar-guided SAM is required. They don't have those.

I distinctly remember when the news of this tragedy first came out, it was stated that there WAS some kind of technical problem/distress call from the cockpit and they do NOT think terrorism was involved even though a terror group was alluding to being responsible. Am I remembering wrong? So now, not long after, as I suspected might happen, it’s a different story. In the beginning of any event no statements should be given other than...we don’t know and are investigating. Tired of the speculation being presented almost as facts these days.

When Obola and The Witch conspired to overthrow and murder Quadaffi they turned his very large arsenal over to the Muslim Brotherhood and AQ. No doubt he had a number of crew served AA missiles as well as MANPADS. With Egypt also in the hands of the MB and AQ, driving a few of those batteries across the border would have taken no more than some fuel and a few drivers. Also, what about the crew served AA Egyptian missiles that fell into the hands of the MB and AQ when Obola and The Witch turned Egypt over to the MB and AQ? In short, ISIS would have had no trouble at all getting one or more crew served AA missiles that could do this, all of it thanks to Obola and The Witch.

False flag operation.

The Russians took it down to take so folks would stop talking about the mh370 report.

We all know the Russians have fewer issues with collateral damage than others (think Moscow movie theatre).

The Russians don’t want to look like they have poor airline security or poor quality planes. So their assessment can’t be trusted. Their most desired explanation is that the plane was taken down by being struck by something in the air.
