Actually Cruz is an unknown.
Cruz refuses to say what he’ll do with the millions of illegals here. He ‘says’ he’s not for amnesty but won’t define what he means by that. McCain also said he wasn’t for amnesty, LOL! Not a good sign, IMO, when other candidates are speaking clearly in the issue. He says he’ll deal with border security first - then ‘have the discussion‘ on what to do with the millions of illegals. He says Americans don’t want to have that discussion until the border is dealt with. BS - conservatives want that discussion! so I don’t trust him. He’s not saying because he has something to hide.
Amnesty is anything other than deporting them. if they get to stay here, then they’ve been given amnesty - forgiven for breaking our laws and allowed benefits those waiting in line, filling out forms and paying fees are denied. If allowed to stay, like Carson’s guest worker program, then WE still pay for their kids’ education, health care, food stamps, welfare, etc. And it’s just one small step from there to citizenship and voting for democrats. Once they are given legal status, they are here to stay-along with all their family members.
And that's the one thing that keeps me from wholeheartedly, 100% backing Cruz. This issue is more important for the long-term health and even the survival of this country than any ten other issues put together.

Well guess what, when all the millions of illegal aliens are amnestied and eventually voting in our elections, mostly for Democrats, then you won't have to worry anymore, because you'll constantly have pro-abortion politicians in the large majority, and your pet issue will be irrelevant.
Repeat with pretty much every other issue.
Either we hold the line HERE AND NOW on illegal immigration, or we don't even have an America to "save" any longer.

His record as Solicitor General, and as US Senator are the only things real and believable in this election cycle.
