Moore is my favorite too. I think it has a lot to do with who played bond during your most impressionable years.

I thought he quit his TV show. Why do I still hear about him?

Gee, James Bond - the fictional character? That James Bond?

Maybe folks should try founding their worldview in something like... oh, I dunno, REALITY - instead of the manure that’s been spread for growing Hollymushrooms in their brains.

Who’s winning American Idolatry and Dancing with the Perverts in between commercials for Beer, Erectile Dysfunction, Sleeping Pills, and Depends this week?

If you want James Bond then go to a library - Neil Burnside of SIS (Sandbaggers TV series).

I’m surprised they didn’t go for the trifecta, a black lesbian muslim. Oops that’s 4 sacred cows!

Hands off our Constitution, Morgan, else, we swear, after we finally defeat liberalism in the US, our new conservative pals running Hollywood will turn Bond into a black transsexual midget crack whore!

Ian Fleming created the character. He is the ONLY person who should have any say regarding the character's sex, race, sexual identity, etc. etc. etc.

And he created a white, heterosexual, male character.

If someone want a lesbian black female spy as a character for a movie they should create one of their own.

The name’s Jenner. Caitlyn Jenner.

It could play both Bond and the Bond Girl.

You know it’s bad when Piers Morgan makes sense.

With all of the “Back to the Future” talk recently, I nominate Barry Nelson to be the next Bond.

Maybe then I’d actually watch a post-2002 Bond flick.

Daniel Craig = SWJ = pro-Gay/anti-gun agendas = Communism.

007 died with Timothy Dalton. It started to decompose with Brosnan. It’s now public consumption sluttery with Craig.

Roger Moore keeps it real:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3288147/Bond-row-looms-Roger-Moore-says-007-t-gay-woman-Star-88-says-political-correctness-not-considered.html

“In another blow to Craig, Sir Roger claims the best Bond was Shakespearean actor Timothy Dalton, saying: ‘The films didn’t deserve him. He’d distinguished himself on the stage and did some interesting things with the part.’”

Dalton married a 25 year old Russian 9 when he was 50, and had a son with her. Then he gave her away to Mel Gibson, who put another child in that Bond’s used up husk.

Roger Moore knows the score:

Unless the Bond character and films go back to their intended and traditional intentions, I’m done wasting time on the subject.

I liked Dalton a lot, I put him on par or almost on par with early Connery. I rue that a contract dispute prevented him from making “Goldeneye”.

Moore got lousy comedy scripts, not his fault. He was very good in harder moments, like slapping around Maude Adams and kicking that car off a cliff.

At least half the point of any James Bond story is how many women does he get to sleep with?

The name is Clinton, Hillary Clinton. Agent 00.

Supposedly, Dalton was in line to take over for Connery when he left the role. That would have been interesting; we could have had a ~25 year run with Dalton as Bond.

Completely agree. Dalton could have been the best 007 ever.

And Moore did have mostly crap/mediocre scripts to work with. Connery had the cream of the crop. Like I’ve written on here many times, given what he had to work with, overall, Sir Roger did well.

LALD: Personally, I found the story to be ehh.
TMWTGG: One of Moore’s best. Him & Christopher Lee, combined with Maud Adams and Britt Ekland? Hell, yeah!
TSWLM: One of the Best Bond’s ever.
M: Garbage story. “007 goes Star Wars”.
FYEO: One of the Best Bond’s ever.
O: Garbage story.
AVTAK: Gets panned, but one of my favorites. Story would be better and more applicable today, especially with the rise of mobile devices.
