Actually, they can "retire after serving six (6) years!"

So for the little firecracker who hates serving, that means after attending some meetings but missing more votes than voting, he's set to receive his full Senatorial pay whether he makes it to the White House or not!

No wonder every ambulance chasing lawyer figured out they need to run for congress.

An equally disgusting fact that I found out a little more than a year ago, is that in KS a certain state congressman was put on some state boards and after inquiring to hire the man's business, I was told by one of his family members that he no longer ran the business. Knowing that the salary of state elected "leaders" didn't pay that much, his pay for his board "service" gave him more than enough to support his family!
