Finally common sense floats to the top. FBI Director, James Comey, speaks out about the “Ferguson Effect.” Are we seeing an increase in crime across the country as a result of the after effects of Ferguson, Baltimore and other cities where police have been thrown under the bus driven by activists and politicians supporting the “Black Lives Matter” movement. To date, we have seen a 20% increase in violent crimes across the country.
“The question that has been asked of me, is whether these kinds of things are changing police behavior all over the country,” Comey said during a speech at the University of Chicago Law School,
“And the answer is, I don’t know. I don’t know whether this explains it entirely, but I do have a strong sense that some part of the explanation is a chill wind blowing through American law enforcement over the last year. And that wind is surely changing behavior.”

In my tiny rural area, the deputies used to patrol one to a car. The area they must cover is huge. But now they patrol two to a car, covering much less area with the same people. Anecdotal evidence says crime is going up. I’m guessing it is because the police presence is so much less.
My only concern is whether pensioners will get the promised increase in turnip vodka ration on the anniv of the Great October Socialist Revolution.
The Democrats have been ginning up the war on police since August 2014. Hillary will have to go along with it in 2016 or alienate her base (in other words, take a stance 180 degrees removed from Bill's when he was President).
The Democrats must think that this will help them with turnout next year--with black voters and the more left-wing whites. A lot of the people more likely to become victims of crimes are in big cities which will vote Democrat no matter what. Maybe they are counting on the media to silence anyone who wants to talk about the increase in crime with accusations of racism, or by pretending that crime hasn't gone up.
Funny. Under Dinkins, crime dramatically increased. Then under Guiliani, it went down.
Wonder what the connection is?
The racial politics practiced by this president has no interest in the truth.
The Administration has pi$$ed the FBI off and the ghost of Hoover still walks the halls.
They will make them pay one way or another

The Obama Admin came up with a great idea during the “Beer Summit” ,Destroy the Police and bring down Law and Order .
I believe that what we’re seeing is a coordinated effort to discredit local police, and alienate the police from the communities they serve and protect, while allowing urban crime, in particular murders, to spiral out of control. Eventually, there will be a cry from the big cities for the federal government to step in with a federal police force.
Let’s not forget that some years ago, Obama announced his intention of creating a civilian crime control force, as well equipped as the military.
That would certainly explain why NOAA, the USPS, and other government agencies who have little or no need for the billions of rounds of non-military caliber ammunition contracts.
