I take a taxi to and from the baseball games. It beats fighting traffic and paying an arm and a leg for parking.
There aren't any taxis at the ball park so I take a 15-minute walk up to the train station...many taxis there.

Why is that so hard to do?

Depends on the city and the ballpark. A fifteen minute walk in the 'hoods near some of them could be the last walk you ever take!
