If a “Black lives matter” snake says he’s not fit to be president, then he’s my choice for president.

Indeed he does it so well, they’ve decided ignoring him is their best course of action.

“There’s no question that Ted Cruz is the best candidate in the field to defeat the media.”

Ted’s too late. Trump has already defeated them. Most recent examples:

1. CNBC just caved to Trump’s (and Carson’s) ultimatums regarding format changes.

2. NBC refuses to cave to La Raza’s “growing” demand to cancel Trump’s appearance on SNL.

3. Trump’s REPEATED public accusations that the media is biased, dishonest and liars.

Article reminded me of why I like Cruz and inspired me to send his campaign a hundred bucks. Cruz really is a force to be reckoned with. He whips the media every time he comes into contact with them.

“If you look at the Black Lives Matter movement, one of the most disturbing things is more than one of their protests have embraced rabid rhetoric, rabid anti-police language, literally suggesting and embracing and celebrating the murder of police officers,” the Texas senator said. “That is disgraceful.”

It's more than disgraceful, it's suicidal. We need police reform - military mindset and tactics, blasting people to bullet-riddled pulps at the drop off a hat, absolutely zero possibility of personal lawsuits for abuse of power, needs to stop.

But.

The police are THE most direct measurement of civilization. THEY ARE NOT OPTIONAL. And if you want to see the alternative, go to a socialist country and see what they are like. Cops not only need to be the good guys, they MUST be the good guys, and need to be worked with until they ARE the good guys, wherever there are problems. Yelling "f#ck the police" is equal to yelling "f#ck civilization." People need to grow the f#ck UP.

The first time I seen Cruz in action was when he was on one those pundit shows in a debate with Schumer about gun control, Cruz had only been in the Senate about 3 months and he tore Schumer up and spit him out, I thought then I would like to see this guy as president someday, it was fascinating to see how easily he handled Schumer, the politically astute will recognize how badly beaten Schumer was, I've been following Cruz ever since.

You can see it here David Gregory tried to help Schumer out but Cruz handled him too...

It really is CRUZ or LOSE folks... nowadays saying such gets me labeled as a Trump hater, some conservatives have learned liberal Alinsky tactics all to well and seem to love it.

Let’s put aside the fact that wearing a jackboot most vigorously makes no sense; and that it’s pretty strange to call Democrats weak pacifists and then complain that they are jackbooted tyrants.

Well, this Boston Glob guy is right.

Democrats are certainly not pacifists, but they don't put the jackboot on the throats of their friends and allies, only on their enemy.

Unfortunately, the Democrats' enemy is the American people.

Love Cruz. He is my guy, has been from the beginning, but I’ll take Trump. Best case scenario for me is Pres/VP in any order.

Have never seen an instance on FR where a Cruz supporter was labeled a Trump hater on the basis of supporting Cruz alone. Might want to examine that a little closer.

It’s not that simple.

You are asking people to vote Cruz with the promise that he will be able to blow through the media and the GOPe while they are looking at Trump whom is already doing it and has for months. Wrecking Bush and disabling the press’s ability to control the narrative.

People are not going to just say “Thanks for sticking your neck out, Don. Now I’m going to go vote for Cruz because I saw a checklist on FR”.

Cruz is my top choice; that said, Trump is my practical top choice, and I hope for 16 years of Cruz. I'm a pretty ardent Constitutionalist.

But While Feinstein and Leahy and the rest are repugnant to me, intellectually dishonest as often intentionally as unintentionally, I do not see that video as an example of where Cruz beat them either rhetorically or on the merits of the argument.

Where am I wrong (I might be) ... ?

It IS, in fact, within the scope of Congress' power, to disallow certain books. For instance, a book full of pictures of kiddy porn or kiddy porn literature.

So this is not an example of a video I would send my silly liberal neighbors to say 'Here is Ted Cruz, why do you think he's irrational?'

What did I miss here?

Thanks for posting by the way - this is not a criticism of the post ... but perhaps criticism of the choice of exchange to demonstrate Cruz is right on the Constitution ...
