In case you hadn't noticed, the first debate among the Democrat candidates for president is next week. It seems that more people are excited about the WNBA finals (quick..can you name one of the two teams? quicker..can you name the other Dem candidates besides Clinton and Sanders? See!!) than the Democrats. There has been much talk in Dem circles about the need for many more debates: I'm predicting now that after the first one is over, people will be begging the DNC to cancel the rest of them. Nevertheless, there are some interesting questions...
Hmmmmmm???? Whatever would cause that to happen?
Actually, it's CNN that will probably turn out to be the big loser here. Whatever credibility they still try and hang onto as a news organization is going to be lost forever.
They might as well call it the Democrat softball tournament, because that's all that's gonna get tossed up.
The other Democrats will not criticize Hillary, not one will bring up the email scandal..and as for the moderators...well...Cooper, Don Lemon, Dana Bash, and some guy from CNN Espanol.. nuff said.
Lemon might just be the wild card..he's gone off the reservation/plantation on occasion...but I doubt it.
Two little tidbits for your consideration:
1. In case you didn't catch it, the other day crazy Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, when responding to yet another plea/demand for more Dem debates, offered this rather unique response: (paraphrasing) "I want the American people to focus on those crazy Republicans."
2. If you saw Gowdy's great letter to Cummings..you read that he was planning on releasing a new bunch of Clinton/Blumenthal emails in FIVE DAYS..which, oh yeah..just happens to be RIGHT BEFORE the Democrat debate. Wonder what might come from those..and will she be asked about them....? Nah..
Two more quickies:
What color pantsuit will Clinton wear?
Will Bill be in the audience?
Anderson Cooper’s questions in advance for Mrs. Clinton: 1) 1) What’s your favorite color? 2) What makes you so wonderful? 3) How does it feel to be a grandmother and how do you do such a great job while juggling that with your other official responsibilities? 4) What is it about the Republicans that makes them so horrible? 5) How can you stave off people like Donald Trump getting elected?
Au contraire. Of course she'll be asked:
Madam Secretary [gotta cement that Tea Leoni to Her Heinous link], the Republicans continued their politicization of the Benghazi tragedy with another email dump just before this debate. How do you respond to the continued abuse of their oversight authority?
“Madam Secretary [gotta cement that Tea Leoni to Her Heinous link], the Republicans continued their politicization of the Benghazi tragedy with another email dump just before this debate. How do you respond to the continued abuse of their oversight authority?”
I know they are going to ask her this. It is inevitable. However, to make it fair, they will follow that up with, “if you were a tree, what type would you be.” And because it is CNN, they won’t ask why.
Cooper is more likely to put Clinton on the defensive than Tapper. Cooper would likely be more in the tank for Biden than anyone else.
Short answer: The Republicans are stupid.
Simple .. THE RNC IS STUPID; and way tooooooo liberal.
