I don’t think Obama is Christian based on his words. Now I’m not a Christian myself (you could call me a Deist as much as anything), but I’m very interested in and respectful of almost all religions. Two main reasons I don’t believe Obama. First in his book he tells why he joined a church. When he was working as a community agitator he would talk to people about all the “good” stuff he was trying to do. They would be receptive at first, but eventually someone would ask what church he belonged to. When he said none, they would just turn off. So by his own admission that’s why he went to find a church to join. And he picked Rev. Wright’s house of hate, which espouses communist liberation theology.
Second, shortly after he was elected he was asked in a long interview why he decided to become a Christian. He said something to the effect that he likes the message of helping the poor and caring for people. Never have I heard him mention Jesus Christ, let alone a personal relationship with him, or anything about salvation or being forgiven for sins. Now I’ve known a lot of Christians, including (especially) converts. I’ve never heard any who would answer that question without mentioning the central tenant of Christianity.

Yes, Obama has spoken about his conversion and knowing Jesus Christ as his Savior several times.
Here is a devout Marxist, steeped in communism and Muslim tenants from a young age who learned in his community-organizing days in Chicago about Jesus Christ. He talked about how he heard about how Jesus loved the poor died to save them. He talked about how he was so taken by Jesus Christ that he prayed to receive him.
Among other things, this is evidence to me that Obama is on this trekk mainly because he believes in all this Marxist stuff more than love for power even though that goes along with it. Obama is a good example of a messed-up guy who became a Christian and has a long way to go to shed a lot of stuff which he may never until he goes to Heaven. It is also another example of God’s amazing and overwhelming grace and love and disregard for outward appearances.
Also, as I said, Obama’s spiritual condition is irrelevant to the political treason he continues to commit and the need to impeach and remove him as soon as possible. I hate what he stands for and the hurt and damage he has done to our beloved country, but I believe I’ll see him in Heaven where all these things will be forgiven and forgotten and we will rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.
