“Obama makes a sick move”
Has he ever made a move that was not?
“The N-word you allude to should be preceded by the word megalomaniac. As far as Im concerned, youre perfectly entitled to feel about BO the same way BO feels about you.”
This “N-word” bullshiit offends me to no end. It’s a shame when people are not allowed to say a word, as if the word is an evil thing that can destroy worlds. We have been so emasculated as a society that we walk on egg shells so as not to offend certain groups who don’t give a crap, nor do they appreciate any consideration, real or fake, that they undeservedly get. It’s a shame when you can not show your appreciation or pride in your race if you are the “wrong color”, a race that has invented and produced nearly everything that has advanced civilization since the dawn of history. It’s a shame when you cannot even type certain words in an internet forum response because it will be flagged automatically and instantly removed, and possibly get the poster banned.
If someone calls me a “honky”, I’m not offended, I just plain don’t care. Where I live I’m occasionally called “gringo”, and I’m not offended because so far in not one case was offense intended, and it’s obvious. People need to lighten up and get off the high horse of victimization. As far as I’m concerned, I’m not special and neither are you, regardless of what liberal muckrakers might drill into your brain. You may be black, gay, female, lesbian, of whatever religion, of whatever “hyphenated American” ethnic group, of whatever political persuasion, but NONE of those things make you special. I believe in Freedom of Speech, as long as it is still held up by the thread from which it hangs. I uphold your right to call me any damn thing you like, but I reserve the right to respond in kind.
It’s time to call a spade a spade! (Can I say that?)
I'm old enough to remember when "spades" was a common term for blacks...which they didn't seem to mind. I'm beginning to question the point in being tactful with people who everybody knows thoroughly despises me. I share your desire to cut through the crap. They've treated me a lot worse than I'm ever treated them, and there's no light in the tunnel. Yea, I really do want everything stripped down to the primer. If there's ever any hope for any improvement with the problem, then we all very much do need to cut through the crap.
