YES, I realized my mistake. But it is unusual for this issue of names to be so confusing. The shooter’s interest in the IRA (Irish Repub. Army) and the father’s accent (though previously I had heard he lived only with his mother...”?) makes one reflect on possibilities. The IRA decidedly had ties and backing from the PLO, and Lybian terror operatives. I recall some IRA action to inactivate after 911 — but have been unable to locate in my web searches. My thought then was that the IRA did not want any possible connection established between them and the Arab promoters of 911. Of course, I acknowledge this may be wild speculation. Just my thoughts.
