I could agree with that, provided that the “GOP” is the “GOPe”.

While conservatives have made the frequent mistake of conflating the GOP with conservatism, we also need to make sure we don’t confuse the party as a whole with the feckless leadership thereof.

For me the Republican Party is dead, they just don't know it yet.

Conservatives should have zero to do with a party that undermines us at every turn, actively campaigns against us every election, legislatively marginalizes us every day in the House and Senate.

And then goes to print and broadcast media to brag about it, call us crazy, bible thumpers, white trash, Jesusland racists and freaks. I could go on.

Why would any Conservative remain in this party?
