My hunch is GOP-e will not support Trump no matter what. Plus, tell it to old fish mouth in Alaska and Thad Cochran who both turned around and ran after losing the primary.

Yes, most of them will. There will be the usual % of defectors, but the establishment will support Trump if they absolutely have to. Trump is smart enough to play their game, make them feel confident they will share in the power of electoral success and most of them will come along.

And by the way, just as many conservatives will defect from a mushy moderate (ie, Jeb) ticket. It works both ways. In the end though, once we have a nominee, it will be us versus them for the majority of people on the right.

The Republican Party REFUSED to support Alan Keyes financially or politically, who was the (black) Republican running against Obama for the Illinois Senate Seat...The Seat that launched Obama to where he is now...No money, no tv commercials, nothing...

The Republicans wanted the Republican to lose...Let that roll around in your head for a while...
