Trump was a democrat from 2001 through 2009.

Yes, I flipped through both CNN & MSNBC. When I got to Fox News there was a commercial!

And, yet he voted for McCain and Palin in 2008. Just because someone is registered as one party, doesn’t mean they go into the voting booth and vote that way, which apparently, Donald did NOT! Some on here are stuck on stupid.

LOL!

Not only will Iran have Nukes before Obama leaves office, they will have the entire $150 Billion.

Did I mention that Obama will also have stopped an Israeli strike on Iran before he leaves office?

I am not so sure either of them know what they are doing- Obama can be articulate- but without a teleprompter he sounds like a moron.

And Kerry...well, Kerry really is that stupid. He reminds me of a Hollywood actor who ‘looks’ the part and so he thinks he can actually be that character. Like if he plays a brain surgeon he thinks he’s as smart as a brain surgeon.

Kerry LOOK LIKE a politician, but in reality is as dumb as a post. Remember when he went to the committee after the VietNam war and pronounced Genghis Khan as “Jen-jiss”?
I at first thought he was trying to sound sophisticated- but now I realize he really was so stupid he did not know who Genghis Kahn was.

He is one of those lucky types whose acts of utter stupidity never ‘look’ stupid.

I like Cruz a lot, but he will not get the nomination and he cannot win the presidential election.

Just the way it is.

Cruz/Trump ticket is possible, but first, Cruz would have to poll at least in the same ball park as Trump.

In 100 different polls so far, Trump is ahead by double digits over other candidates, except one or two outlier polls.

Trump sometimes irritates me with the self-absorbed bragging. But I look at it this way — I’ve spent the last 7 and a half years where I wanted to vomit whenever I saw or heard our current President, and he has just about ruined this country. I figure I can stomach Trump’s braggadocio if he will bring this country back from the brink. And I can certainly listen to him without wanting to vomit.

I would love a Cruz/Palin ticket—but I know that’s dreaming—will never happen.

*************

Never happen. Trump isn’t 2nd fiddle to anyone. If he can’t be #1 then
he’ll take his toys and go find another real estate deal, etc.
I don’t blame him either as 2nd fiddle is a waste of time.

Yes. He does resonate. He appeals to people’s base instincts. Some people don’t mind the insults and the bluster. I’m looking more for an RR, a Churchill, or a Thatcher. I just don’t view DT as presidential timber in either style or substance. I get the impression it is all about him. Yes, he is refreshingly politically incorrect. But he is also...bombastic, petty, thin skinned, narcissistic, arrogant, obnoxious, childish, blustery, insulting, name calling, crude, crass, loud mouthed, unpredictable, shallow, loose cannon, uncorked vox pox, untrustworthy, and demeaning. He surrounds himself with yes men and sycophants, expects only softball questions from the media, wants adoring crowds and adulation. I think it is a borderline cult of personality, and I find it alarming. The biggest joke is that he is anti-establishment. Fact is you can’t get more establishment than DT. He was born into an immensely wealthy NY real estate empire. Not only is DT a country club Republican, but he actually owns many of the world’s finest golf courses. He is by far the richest man ever to run for president. He hobnobs with the rich and famous. He is closely associated with the Clintons. He gives to BOTH political parties. He lives in fabulous mansions and Manhattan penthouses. A rather bizarre tribune of the common man if you ask me. His loud mouth and vast wealth gives him the most attention. DT has done jack diddly squat for the conservative movement over the years, but his pocketbook has been open to the Clintons, Reid, and Pelousy. Sorry if I am not impressed. In fact, I’m quite skeptical. If he become the GOP nominee, I will support him despite my personal reservations. For the time being, I think we have better choices available at this point.

> “Cruz voted for the Corker bill that gave this deal to Obama.”

Nine years with your head up your *ss is nothing to reveal.

Senator Jeff Sessions also voted for the Corker Bill.

And Senator Cruz voted against cloture of the Corker bill but switched when Obama promised he would delay going to the UN for ‘ratification’ of his ‘deal’ if the Congress would vote on the Corker Bill.

Cruz said he voted for the Corker bill because it would delay the deal.

But Obama lied and went to the UN without delay.

It was never about inspections or restraints on nuclear developments.

It was always about releasing the $150 Billion.

Today Ted Cruz is screaming to have international banks refuse to release the $$$.

Yes. I agree. DT has much in common with BHO with respects to their personalities. That’s what troubles me.

.....
What are the odds there’ll be a nice kickback for the Jarrett white house?

I think you have things turned around. Cruz would never put Trump on his ticket - he wants someone consistently Conservative, balanced, informed and not a loose cannon.

I think you're projecting your feelings for Trump unto Cruz. Ted and Donald have had at least one meeting, and Cruz is the only guy in the race who hasn't attacked Trump, and who's actually had some nice things to say. I think they'd make an awesome team.

But I think Trump also has much that is not in common with him. In particular, he cares about his country. And he’s willing to do something about it.
