Doppler frequency shift.

Direct conversion receivers has helped that a lot.

I could do it, given the equipment.

If a cook can do it, it can't be too hard. ;)

It’s amazing they can pickup the transmission from the spacecraft at these distances. I know we’re still getting telemetry from the two Voyager craft, which are even further out. Amazing stuff.
