Howard Hughes is alleged to have paid Nixon $100,000, but this fact was unknown at the time. What the hell has this allegation have do with anything, why didn't the author stick with a more germane example like the French and others not understanding our outrage with Mr. "put some ice on that", because after all it was only sex. Never miss an opportunity to slime a Republican with an allegation.
