Oh, Green - leave it to you to bring up Lee Tracy - why I love you, lol!

I compared Trump to Leo Gorcey in “Dead End” yesterday when he uttered the immortal “Siiiiiiiiiiiiit down.” If only he had given Ramos the mark of the squealer!

That said, Wayne was quintessentially the Western hero. Trump, while I won’t call him a hero, is quintessentially a New Yorker - an Easterner - a Queens boy with all the good qualities and bad. It has enormous appeal to me because I was born and raised in Queens. His vocal rhythms are the sounds of my childhood. To me, oddly enough, he’s a comfort more than the Texas accents and Midwestern accents of the other candidates. And certainly more comforting than the Mexican accent of our “frontrunner.”
