Within a short amount of time after 911, President Bush was badgered into stopping all golf games.

I thought Dubya chose to stop playing golf, due to the serious issues at the time.

Can you reveal who “badgered” him to stop?

One prominent example among many in the media was Michael Moore:

“Bush was also constantly ridiculed and criticized for playing golf, most memorably by Michael Moore in Fahrenheit 9/11. In August 2003, Bush gave up the game, believing it sent the wrong message to grieving parents of soldiers killed or wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. Of course, he was ridiculed for that as well.”

Don’t get me wrong, I do think Bush made a conscientious decision not to play. I don’t think he is respected for the decision. I think he was harangued about the topic prior to decision in ways President Obama is not harangued.

I think this double standard is at the heart of what is destroying this nation. Patriotic individuals must adhere to a standard of perfection. Politicians who think America is far from exceptional and argue that way are granted exemptions in conduct. That cynical spiral allows our interpretive elite to tear down this great nation.

It disgusts me.
