By the way rockrr. You used the term “slavers” to indicate as if they were a large group..They were not..

The ownership of slaves in the south was largely confined to the plantations...Counts were made over the years to determine how many people had anything at all to do with it, and the numbers were less than 5%.

There were far more slave and indentured servant owners in the North.

In Delaware perhaps. The percentage varied from region to region (lower, upper, and border states) but averaged closer to 30% of families owning at least one slave.
