You missed the point so much that I wouldn’t want to hunt with you because you would probably shoot yourself or me in the foot while aiming at your prey. Pigs are smart but they are no no where near as smart as elephants and great apes, when was the last time you saw a pig using a tool, or using sign language or not rolling over onto their little piglets smothering them??? Also I did mention that killing vermin animals was okay or if they endangered humans and livestock, well Einstein, wild boars are a nuisance animal. Gorillas and Elephants in their natural habitat aren’t usually a nuisance animal to humans unless a very few of them decide to be. Then I am quite okay with shooting koko the gorilla being taken out if she is strangling kittens to death or dumbo the elephant if he is flatting villages being taken out.
The list of animals that we shouldn’t kill because of their intelligence is higher than your average bear is a very short one, and we should strive not go out of our way to kill them for just for sport or food if there are easier alternatives.
[ So no pork but it’s o.k. to shoot horses because they as every farm raised girl knows, are some of the dumbest animals on a farm. ]
Horses are dumb as hell, but they are also animals that we domesticated for working purposes, it kinda takes the sport out of it to hunt DOMESTIC HORSES. You gonna bring some apples and carrots to lure them over where you can shoot them, wow, that took all the hunting prowess of an infant playing peekaboo. I must note that I am okay with hunting WILD Mustangs for sport and for meat and to control their numbers.
Of course if you wanna take your gun to the Kentucky derby and start shooting, hey, have a blast, but even though you may make that race more interesting, I am pretty sure the jockeys won’t appreciate it very damned much. Also, I will not cover your bail as they drag you away.

Born and raised, I even did some hunting myself to control the pest animals like prairie dogs (they make holes that cows can injure themselves in) and raccoons who cause property damage. I didn’t get a thrill shooting these animals with my brother’s high powered rifle with a scope, it was just another farm shore to do. I even hunted a few little bunny wabbits with the farm .22 when their numbers were so high they were practically hundreds of them per acre, and then I took back their dead bodies to feed to the barn cats.

You do know that God gave us dominion over animals, but that doesn’t mean every animal has a target on it’s back. We shouldn’t hunt tame kitty cats or puppy dogs for sport. We can hunt down WILD dogs and WILD cats that are being a nuisance or in some cases when TAME animals are out of control. Case in point: On the Farm when we raised sheep we did have to put down a neighbor’s dog that was coming over to our property and killing lambs.
Unless you think we should kill tame domestic pets for “sport”.... in that case please tell me address so I can bring a can of whiskas or alpo and my .22 and stand outside your property line going “here kitty kitty” or “here boy, here boy” and then shooting them the second they cross over your property line....
